Convention Reminder
Registration is open from 12-5 pm on Friday and 8 am – 1:30 pm on Saturday

RPV is offering a VIP Upgrade Pass for all Convention Guests and Delegates. The VIP Upgrade Pass is your all-access ticket to the 2016 Convention, including the Friday Night Welcome Reception, the VIP Lounge, the official War Room, priority seating on the Convention Floor, and one ticket to the Saturday Morning Breakfast (breakfast is limited to the first 45 participants). The VIP Lounge will be located inside the Duke Clubroom at the Convention (JMU Convocation Center) and will be open “Gavel-to-Gavel” with coffee, tea, sodas, wine, beer, cocktails, snacks and meals for a relaxed, exclusive VIP convention experience. Through March 23 only, VIP Upgrade Passes are available at a discount price of $475 (regular price $500).

Please Note:

  • No voting will occur prior to 1:30 pm on Saturday April 30
  • Concessions will be available inside the Convocation Center
  • Directions and parking instructions listed on the RPV website under the Convention tab
  • Attire for all events is business/business casual

Our 2016 Convention will get started at noon on Friday, April 29, when registration begins at the Convocation Center. We encourage all guests to pre-register with us by completing this form and submitting to RPV. The State Central Committee will meet at noon on Friday inside the Convocation Center. This meeting is, as always, open to visitors. At 2:30 PM Chairman Whitbeck will officially call the 2016 Convention to Order and Convention Delegates will adopt the rules and elect permanent convention officers. State Central will reconvene at 3:30, if necessary.

The evening’s events begin at 5:00 PM for our Happy Hour Hospitality Suites at the JMU Festival Center. This is open to Paid Delegates & Paid Guests. At 7 we’ll kick off the Convention Welcome Reception, where we’ll have a light buffet-style dinner and hear from some speakers.

On Saturday, the Convention Registration opens at 8:00 AM, and the Convention will kick off at 10:30. We encourage all delegates and guests to please allow approximately 30 minutes for entry/registration.
