2024 LYNCHBURG REPUBLICAN CITY COMMITTEE
OFFICIAL CALL FOR A MASS MEETING
As Chairman of the Lynchburg Republican City Committee (“LRCC”), pursuant to the Republican Party of Virginia Plan of Organization, and as recommended and directed by the LRCC, I, Veronica Bratton, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at 122 Fleetwood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24501, Lynchburg, VA 24502 on Saturday March 23, 2024, registration beginning at 9:00AM and meeting beginning at 10:00AM, or at an alternate location, date and/or time for the following purposes:
1. Elect a chairman of the Lynchburg Republican City Committee for the 2024-2026 term.
2. Elect the members of the Lynchburg Republican City Committee for the 2024-2026 term.
3. Elect up to 615 Delegates and up to an equal number of Alternate Delegates to the Fifth District Republican Convention to be held April 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. or alternate date, at Drakes Branch Volunteer Fire Department, 4801 Drakes Main Street, Drakes Branch, VA 23937 or an alternate site if necessary for the following purposes:
- Election of Fifth District Republican Committee Chairman
- Election of three (3) State Central Committee Members
- Election of one (1) Elector for the 2024 Presidential Election
- Transaction of such other such business as may properly come before theConvention.
4. Elect up to 615 Delegates to the Republican Party of Virginia 2024 Quadrennial
Convention to be held from May 31-June 1, 2024 at Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA 23666. Convening on May 31, 2024, at 2 p.m. and June 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. for the following purposes:
- Selecting two (2) Electors At-Large to be voted for in the presidential election on November 5, 2024
- Electing a State Chairman
- Nominating a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman
- For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before theConvention
5. For the transaction of other such business as may properly come before the Mass
Meeting.
