Mass Meeting

Patrick County Republican Committee

of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Patrick County Republican Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Lynne Bogle, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held Wood Brothers Motorsports Hall of Fame Auditorium, 212 Wood Brothers Dr, Stuart VA, 24171, starting at 6 pm local time (with registration opening at 5:45 pm on March 21, 2024 for the following purposes:

1. To elect a unit chairman, vice-chairman, treasurer, secretary (if nominated) and members to the unit committee;
2. Electing Delegates and Alternates to the Republican Party of Virginia State Convention, to be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 and Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Dr., Hampton VA 23666, or its alternate site, opening at 2:30 p.m. on May 31 for the purposes of:
   1. electing a State Chairman,
   2. nominating a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman,
   3. nominating 2 electors at-large to serve in the 2024 Electoral College, and
   4. the transaction of other business as may properly come before the Convention.

Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes cast for Governor and President at their last election, so that Patrick County is entitled to 54 Delegate Votes;

3. Electing Delegates and Alternates to the Ninth Congressional District Republican Convention, to be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Wytheville Meeting Center, 333 Community Blvd., Wytheville, VA 24382, or its alternate site, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (with registration from 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.) for the purposes of:
   1. electing a District Chairman,
   2. electing 3 members to the State Central Committee,
   3. nominating 1 elector to serve in the 2024 Electoral College, and
   4. the transaction of other business as may properly come before the Convention.

Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes cast for Governor and President at their last election, so that Patrick County is entitled to 54 Delegate Votes;

4. And for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.
