Registration for the 50th House of Delegates Republican District Convention will open at 2:00 PM ET. Doors shall close at 3:30 PM ET\, with registration continuing for those who were in line at 3:30 PM until all eligible persons inside are registered. The 2019 Prince William County Republican Mass Meeting shall be held for the following purpose: \nTo select the Republican nominee for the 50th House of Delegates District; \nTo transact such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting. \nThe 50th House of Delegates District Mass Meeting shall be composed of registered voters exclusively from the 50th House of Delegates District\, Virginia and those appointed to assist in the administration of the meeting by the Chairman of the 50th House of Delegates District Republican Committee. \nFiling for the Nomination for Delegate 50th House of Delegates District \nAny person who desires to seek the Republican nomination for the 50th House of Delegates District\, Virginia must submit a written statement to that effect\, along with a non-refundable filing fee of $700.00 (Seven Hundred Dollars and no cents made out to “PWCRC”)\, to the 50th House of Delegates District Temporary Nominations Committee\, at Prince William County Republican Committee\, Attn: Nominations\, 4431 Prince William Parkway\, Woodbridge\, VA 22192\, postmarked on or before March 18th\, 2019. \nIf only one person files or is deemed to have appropriately filed after March 18th\, 2019 then that person will be deemed to be the Party’s nominee and the 50th House of Delegates District Republican Mass Meeting will be cancelled. \nQualifications for Participation \nAll legal and qualified residents of 50th House of Delegates District\, Virginia who are voters under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia\, regardless of race\, religion\, national origin or sex\, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who\, when requested\, express in writing as may be required\, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election\, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings\, party canvasses\, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts. In addition to the foregoing\, to be in accord with the principles of the Republican Party\, unless otherwise stipulated by the appropriate Official Committee\, a person otherwise qualified hereunder shall not have participated in Virginia in the nomination process of a party other than the Republican Party within the last five years.   \n. \nA single exception to the above paragraph shall be approved for a voter that renounces affiliation with any other party in writing\, and who expresses in writing that he/she is in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and intends\, at the time of the writing\, to support the nominees of the Republican Party in the future. A voter must be present to vote at the Mass Meeting.  \n  \nRegistration Fee(s) \n  \nThere are no fees required to attend the Mass Meeting. \n   \nTemporary Mass Meeting Committees \n  \nMembers of the Temporary Convention Credentials\, Nominations\, Elections\, and Rules Committees shall be appointed by the 51st House of Delegates District Republican Chairman and shall meet in advance of the Convention\, at the discretion of their Temporary Chairman and/or the 51st House of Delegates District Chairman\, to perform their duties subject to ratification by voters present and voting at the Mass Meeting. The Mass Meeting shall be conducted in accordance with the Plan of Organization of the Republican Party of Virginia\, the Plan of Organization of the Prince William County Republican Party\, and the latest edition of Robert’s Rules of Order\, Newly Revised.  \n  \nRevisions \n  \nIn the event that the action of the General Assembly or other competent authority requires technical or conforming changes to the Call\, the 51st House of Delegates District Chairman is authorized to revise the Call to make any such technical or conforming changes. DESCRIPTION:As Chairman of the 51st House of Delegates District Committee Republican Party of Virginia\, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee\, I Dottie Miller\, do hereby issue this call for a 2019 Mass Meeting of the 51st House of Delegates District to be held at Brentsville District High School\, 12109 Aden Rd\, Nokesville\, VA 20181: \n  \n51st House of Delegates District Republican Mass Meeting \n  \nThe 2019 51st House of Delegates District Republican Mass Meeting shall be held on Thursday May 2nd\, 2019\, beginning at 8:00 PM ET\, at Brentsville District High School\, 12109 Aden Rd\, Nokesville\, VA 20181 or at its alternate site and/or time as determined by the 51st House of Delegates District Republican Chairman\, if necessary. Registration for the 51st House of Delegates Republican District Convention will open at 6:00 PM ET.  Doors shall close at 8:00 PM ET\, with registration continuing for those who were in line at 8:00 PM until all eligible persons inside are registered. The 2019 Prince William County Republican Mass Meeting shall be held for the following purpose: \n  \n\nTo select the Republican nominee for the 51st House of Delegates District; \n\n  \n\nTo transact such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting.\n\n  \nThe 51st House of Delegates District Mass Meeting shall be composed of registered voters exclusively from the 51st House of Delegates District\, Virginia and those appointed to assist in the administration of the meeting by the Chairman of the 51st House of Delegates District Republican Committee.   \n  \nFiling for the Nomination for Delegate 51st House of Delegates District \n   \nAny person who desires to seek the Republican nomination for the 51st House of Delegates District\, Virginia must submit a written statement to that effect\, along with a non-refundable filing fee of $700.00 (Seven Hundred Dollars and no cents made out to “PWCRC”)\, to the 51st House of Delegates District Temporary Nominations Committee\, at Prince William County Republican Committee\, Attn: Nominations\, 4431 Prince William Parkway\, Woodbridge\, VA 22192\, postmarked on or before March 25th\, 2019.   \n  \nIf only one person files or is deemed to have appropriately filed after March 25th\, 2019 then that person will be deemed to be the Party’s nominee and the 51st House of Delegates District Republican Mass Meeting will be cancelled.   \n  \nQualifications for Participation \n  \nAll legal and qualified residents of 51st House of Delegates District\, Virginia who are voters under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia\, regardless of race\, religion\, national origin or gender\, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who\, when requested\, express in writing as may be required\, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election\, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings\, party canvasses\, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.
