Pace\, do hereby issue this call to elect delegates to the May 8\, 2021 State Convention at which candidates for Governor\, Lieutenant Governor\, and Attorney General will be selected between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. \n\nQualifications for Participation \nAll legal and qualified voters of Pittsylvania County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia\, regardless of race\, religion\, national origin or sex\, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who\, if requested\, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as required\, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election\, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings\, party canvasses\, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts. \n\nIn addition to the foregoing\, to be in accord with the principles of the Republican Party\, a person otherwise qualified hereunder shall not have participated in Virginia in the nominating process of a party other than the Republican Party in the last five years from March 1\, 2016. A single exception to this restriction shall be approved for a voter that renounces affiliation with any other party in writing\, and who expresses in writing that they are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and intends to support the nominees of the Republican Party in the future. \nFiling Requirements \nThose wishing to serve as delegates to the State Convention shall file the form available at http://rncmultisite.kinsta.cloud/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2021/03/Delegate-Pre-File-For-for-Unit-Chairmen-v2.pdf\, which must be received no later than Thursday\, April 15 at 7:00 PM. \n\nForms may be submitted either by postal mail or email: \n\nBy postal mail: \nWilliam Pace \nChairman\, Pittsylvania County Republican Committee \nP.O. Military Member ballots shall be made available by the RPV Chairman or his designee at least twenty (20) days prior to the convention (April 18\, 2021). Ballots must be received by the RPV Chairman no later than 12:30 PM on Wednesday\, May 5\, 2021. \n\nRegistration Fee \nThere will be no registration fee to a delegate to the State Convention. \n\nPublication \nThis call will be published at https://virginia.gop/events/category/official-call/.
