CANCELLED: First Congressional District Convention

Atlee High School 9414 Atlee Station Rd, Mechanicsville VA 23116-2600,

District Treasurer George Clark informed me shortly after 5:00 p.m. today that only one candidate had filed to be District Chairman.  The provisions of the Call we approved at our February 5 meeting, state, "If only one (1) qualified candidate files for District Chairman, that candidate shall be deemed elected and the Convention cancelled.” Consistent with and fulfilling the provisions of the Call, the District Convention of the 1st Congressional District of the Republican Party of Virginia is hereby cancelled.   As Chairman of the 1st Congressional District of the Republican Party of Virginia and pursuant to the Plan of

This Convention has been cancelled in accordance to the Call.   As Chairman of the 4th Congressional District of the Republican Party of Virginia and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the District Committee, I, Carey L. Allen, do hereby issue this Call for a District Convention to be held at the Life Christian Academy 1217 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834, or its alternate site, starting at 11:00 a.m. EDT, with registration beginning at 10:00 a.m. EDT, on June 4, 2022, for the following purposes: 1. Electing a District Chairman of the Republican Party;
