DESCRIPTION:As Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach (RPVB)\, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization as recommended and directed by the committee\, I Bill Curtis\, do hereby issue this call for a Party canvass to be held the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library\, 4100 Virginia Beach Blvd. Virginia Beach 23452 on Saturday 9 April from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. The Chairman shall appoint a canvass committee and a credentials committee which shall decide any questions that may arise concerning the canvass. Canvass rules will be posted to the RPV and RPVB websites. Anyone standing in line at 4:00 pm will be permitted to vote. Proffitt\, do hereby issue this call for a Party Canvass to be held at Central Library\, 298 Cedar Rd\, Chesapeake\, VA 23322\, (Voters in Zip Codes 23320\, 23322\, 23323\, 23324\, and 23325) and Russell Memorial Library\, 2808 Taylor Rd\, Chesapeake\, VA 23321\, (Voters in Zip Code 23321) or its alternate location(s)\, from 10:00am to 3:00pm local time on April 23\, 2022 for the following purposes:  \na) Electing a Unit Chairman;  \nb) Electing members of the Unit Committee  \nc) Electing up to 1505 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the Second Congressional District Convention\, to be held on TBD at TBD\, beginning at TBD for the purposes of  \na. Electing a District Chairman.  \nb. and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the convention.
