It’s probably not the message Democrats wanted to hear, but Nancy Pelosi is saying it anyway.
Speaking at an event this weekend, Pelosi said “San Francisco values” are what Democrats are all about. From NTK:
“I don’t mind when they say things about me like I’m a liberal,” Pelosi said while waving her fist in the air. “I like that. But when they say San Francisco liberal, as if to make it sound like it’s something negative, them’s fightin’ words. Don’t attack my city,” Pelosi said. “But, San Francisco values, that’s what we’re about.”
Recall that Pelosi and her PACs have given heavily to elect Democrats like Jennifer Wexton, Elaine Luria, Leslie Cockburn, and Abigail Spanberger. Recall also that Wexton and Luria have continued to play ignorant on whether or not they’d vote for Pelosi to be Speaker again.
“In the end, tomorrow’s vote is about a choice: continued prosperity, or a return to stagnation. The Virginia way, or San Fransisco values. Results, or resistance? Jennifer Wexton, Elaine Luria, Leslie Cockburn, and Abigail Spanberger represent higher taxes, government control of health care, and an end to an economic boom. But there’s a simple way to stop them — vote Republican.” — Garren Shipley, RNC spokesman
