Ralph Northam may still be in hiding, but his political action committee is still hard at work — recruiting candidates who support his radical views on abortion.
The Richmond Times Dispatch reported last week that Democrat Del. Debra Rodman was considering a run for the state Senate at the urging of Northam’s team. From the story:
“Bolstered by support from Gov. Ralph Northam’s PAC and a Democratic Party poll showing she could do well, Del. Debra Rodman, D-Henrico, said she is considering a run for Virginia Senate this year against Sen. Siobhan Dunnavant, R-Henrico.”
Today, Rodman made it official, announcing that she would run for the Virginia Senate. That means she has some serious questions to answer.
“We know Debra Rodman supports Kathy Tran’s 40-week abortion bill. Not only did she sign on as a co-patron, she literally stood beside Tran as she made her infamous ‘My bill would allow that, yes.’ comment at committee. How much support will Rodman and other Democrats accept from a Governor they have publicly said must resign? It will be utter hypocrisy if the answer is anything other than ‘none at all.’” — Garren Shipley, RNC spokesman
