When will VA Dems denounce anti-Semitism in their own party?

We’re still waiting for many Virginia Democrat House members to weigh in on their colleague Rep. Ilhan Omar’s latest outburst of anti-Semitism, but we’re not holding our breath. After all, they have yet to even rescind their endorsement of Virginia House District 86 candidate — Ibraheem Samirah — who said supporting Israel is worse than supporting the KKK.

He also called for former Prime Minster Ariel Sharon to “burn in hell.”

Jennifer Wexton has yet to rescind her endorsement, nor have Gerry Connolly nor Don Beyer condemned Samirah’s statements.

“It shouldn’t be difficult to condemn bigotry like appearing in blackface or statements of blatant anti-Semitism. Virginia Democrats’ silence is saying more about their leadership than their words ever could.” — Garren Shipley, RNC spokesman
