Abigail Spanberger Would Be the Anti-Life Governor
Abigail Spanberger’s record and recent statements make one thing clear: she would be the most anti-life governor in Virginia history.
In recent weeks, Spanberger has repeatedly refused to stand up for basic parental rights, dodging questions about whether parents have a right to know if their underage child is undergoing a serious medical procedure. Her refusal to condemn Fairfax County school officials accused of arranging secret abortions for minors without parental consent speaks volumes.
Additionally, instead of standing with families, Spanberger has doubled down on supporting a constitutional amendment establishing radical late-term abortion-on-demand as the law of the land in Virginia. That amendment would wipe away long-standing safeguards and strip parents of their voice in critical decisions affecting their children.
Spanberger’s extreme agenda doesn’t stop there. She has publicly backed legalizing assisted suicide in Virginia—and went so far as to say doctors should be forced to participate, even if it violates their deeply held moral or religious convictions. This kind of government overreach would erode both medical ethics and religious freedom, setting a dangerous precedent for our Commonwealth.
While Winsome Earle-Sears has pledged to defend life, protect parental rights, and safeguard conscience protections for health care providers, Spanberger has made it clear she would be the anti-life governor.
This November, Virginians face a choice between a governor who will respect and defend life at every stage—or one who has shown she will undermine it at every opportunity.
