As Chairman of the 5th Senate Legislative District Republican Committee, and pursuant to the
Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Caleb Seth Cruey,
do hereby issue this call for a Party Canvass (“party-run primary”) to be held at the locations
listed below (or their alternate site), beginning at 12:00 P.M. local time and ending at 6:00PM
local time on Saturday, May 20, 2023 for the following purposes:
1) Nominating a Republican Candidate for Member of the Senate of Virginia from the 5 th
