CANCELLED: Albemarle County Mass Meeting

As Chairman of the Albemarle County Republican Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, George M. Urban, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held in the Lane Auditorium, Albemarle County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia, 22902 (or an alternate site, if necessary, as determined by the Chairman), starting at 6:30 PM local time (with registration opening at 5:30 PM) on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, for the following purposes:
(i) to elect a Chairman of the Committee;
(ii) to elect Members of the Committee;
(iii) to elect up to 800 Delegates (and up to 800 Alternates) to the Convention called by the Fifth Congressional District Committee of Republican Party of Virginia for May 21, 2022 (hereinafter the “5th District Convention”). The published 5th District Convention call is hereby incorporated in its entirety into this call (https://virginia.gop/assets/uploads/2022/01/2022-Fifth-District-Convention-Call-2.pdf ); and
(iv) to elect up to 5 Delegates (and up to 5 Alternates) to the Convention called by the Seventh Congressional District Committee of Virginia for April 9, 2022 (hereinafter the “7th District Convention”). The published 7th District Convention call is hereby incorporated in its entirety into this call (https://virginia.gop/assets/uploads/2022/01/OFFICIAL-CALL_VA_07.pdf ).
