Albemarle GOP Mass Meeting

OFFICIAL CALL

Mass Meeting of the Albemarle County Republican Committee of the Republican

Party of Virginia.

 

As Chairman of the Albemarle County Republican Committee of the Republican Party of

Virginia, pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the

Committee, I, John C. Lowry, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held on

Wednesday March 20, 2024 at the First Free Coffee Bar 340 Towncenter Ln Suite 100,

Charlottesville, VA 22911, or its alternate site, starting at 4:00 pm. Registration begins at 4:00

pm and ends at 5:00 pm (all those in line at 4:00 pm will be allowed to register)

for the following purposes:

1. Electing a Unit Chairman;

2. Electing members of the Unit Committee pursuant to the By-Laws of the Albemarle County

Republican Committee;

3. Electing up to 800 Delegates (160 Delegate Votes) and an equal number of Alternates to the

5th District Convention to be held on April 27, 2024 at Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM

Drakes Branch Volunteer Fire Department 4801 Drakes Main Street, Drakes Branch, VA 23937

OR an alternate site or date if necessary for the following purposes:

a. Electing a District Chairman;

b. Electing three (3) Members of the State Central Committee of the Republican Party of

Virginia;

c. Electing a Republican candidate for Elector for President and Vice President of the United

States for the election to be held on November 5, 2024; and

d. For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the convention.

4. Electing up to 800 Delegates (160 Delegate Votes) and an equal

number of Alternates to the Republican Party of Virginia State

Convention to be held on May 31 – June 1, 2024 at Hampton Roads

Convention Center, address at 1610 Coliseum Dr., Hampton, VA

23666, beginning at 2:30 pm on May 31 and 10:00 am on June 1st for

the purpose of:

a. Selecting two Electors At-Large to be voted for in the

presidential election on November 5, 2024;

b. Electing a State Chairman;

c. Nominating a National Committeeman and National

Committeewoman;

d. and for the transaction of such other business as may properly

come before the Convention.

5. Electing up to 5 Delegates (1 Delegate Votes) and an equal number of Alternates to the 7th

District Convention

to be held at Riverbend High School, 12301 Spotswood Furnace Rd,

Fredericksburg, VA 22407 or its alternate site,

starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 23rd 2024, withregistration beginning at 8:00 a.m. for the following purposes:

a. Electing a chairman for the 7th Congressional

District of the Republican Party of Virginia for a

term of two (2) years;

b. Electing three (3) State Central Committee

Members for the 7th Congressional District of the

Republican Party of Virginia for a term of four (4)

years;

c. Nominating one (1) Elector to be voted for in the

presidential election on November 5, 2024; and4.

Transacting such other business as may properly come

before the convention.

d. For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the convention.
