Bristol Mass Meeting

As Chairman of the Bristol Republican Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as
recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Tim Boyer, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be
held at the Bristol Virginia Courthouse, 497 Cumberland St, Bristol, VA 24202 starting at 7:00pm local time on
Monday, April 8, 2024 for the following purposes:
1. To elect a unit chairman, vice chairman, treasurer, secretary, general counsel, and members to the unit
committee;
2. Electing Delegates and Alternates to the Republican Party of Virginia State Convention, to be held on
Friday, May 31, 2024 and Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610
Coliseum Dr., Hampton VA 23666, or its alternate site, opening at 2:30 p.m. on May 31 for the
purposes of:
a. electing a State Chairman,
b. nominating a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman,
c. nominating 2 electors at-large to serve in the 2024 Electoral College, and
d. the transaction of other business as may properly come before the Convention.
Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes cast for Governor and President
at their last election, so that Bristol is entitled to 36 Delegate Votes;
3. And for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.
