CANCELLED: Chesapeake City Party Canvass

This Canvass has been cancelled in accordance to the call.
As Chairman of the Chesapeake City Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Nicholas D. Proffitt, do hereby issue this call for a Party Canvass to be held at Central Library, 298 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322, (Voters in Zip Codes 23320, 23322, 23323, 23324, and 23325) and Russell Memorial Library, 2808 Taylor Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23321, (Voters in Zip Code 23321) or its alternate location(s), from 10:00am to 3:00pm local time on April 23, 2022 for the following purposes:
a) Electing a Unit Chairman;
b) Electing members of the Unit Committee
c) Electing up to 1505 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the Second Congressional District Convention, to be held on TBD at TBD, beginning at TBD for the purposes of
a. Electing a District Chairman.
b. and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the convention. Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes for Governor and President at their last election, so that Chesapeake is entitled to 301 Delegate Votes.
d) Electing up to 770 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the Third Congressional District Convention, to be held on May 21st at The Old SunTrust Building, 10814 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601, or its alternate site, beginning at 10am for the purposes of
a. Electing a District Chairman.
b. and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the convention. Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes for Governor and President at their last election, so that Chesapeake is entitled to 154 Delegate Votes. PLEASE NOTE: THE THIRD DISTRICT CONVENTION HAS BEEN CANCELED.
