CANCELLED: Franklin County Mass Meeting

The 2022 Mass Meeting for the Franklin County Republican Committee scheduled for March 3, 2022, has been cancelled due to no contested offices. Forms to run for committee offices were due by 5:00 p.m. on 02/24/2022. None were received.
Our regular meeting will be held at Franklin Center, 50 Claiborne Avenue, Rocky Mount, VA on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. A call will go out next week.
As Chairman of the Franklin County Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Walter (Wally) W. Young do hereby issue this Call for a Mass Meeting to be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 5:00 PM, (with registration from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.), at the location of:
Callaway Church of God
5185 Callaway Road, Rocky Mount, VA.
The purpose of the Mass Meeting is to:
- Elect a Chairman of the Franklin County Republican Committee for a two-year term (2022-2024).
- Elect members of the unit committee and the following officers: Vice Chair, Second Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
- For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting.
