Official Call for a Mass Meeting of the City of Harrisonburg

Republican Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia

Call issued February 8, 2024

As Chairman of the Harrisonburg City Republican Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia,

and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Pat

Haden, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at The Offices, 31 North Federal Street

Harrisonburg, Virginia 22802, or alternate site, at 6:30 PM on Thursday, March 14th, 2024, or alternate

date, for the following purposes:

1. Elect Delegates and Alternates to represent the Committee at the Republican 6th Congressional

District Convention which shall be held on May 11, 2024, or alternate date, at the Rockingham

County Fairgrounds, 4808 S. Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, VA, or alternate site, starting at 10:00

A.M. The Harrisonburg City Committee shall have 40 delegate votes. The maximum number of

delegates who may represent Harrisonburg City shall be 200.

At the District Convention, Delegates will elect a District Chairman, three Regional Vice-

Chairmen, three Representatives to the State Central Committee, three Delegates and three

Alternates to the National Convention, and one Presidential Elector.

2. Elect Delegates and Alternates to represent the Committee at the Republican Party of Virginia

2024 Quadrennial Convention which shall be held on May 31-June 1, 2024, or alternate date, at

the Hampton Roads Convention Center, or alternate site. The Harrisonburg City Committee shall

have 40 delegate votes. The maximum number of delegates who may represent Harrisonburg City

shall be 200.

At the State Convention, the Delegates will select two Electors-Large to be voted for in the

election on November 5, 2024, elect a State Chairman, and nominate a National Committeeman

and National Committeewoman.

3. Elect the Chairman of the Harrisonburg City Republican Committee.

4. Elect members of the Harrisonburg City Republican Committee.

5. Transact such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting.
