Henry County-Martinsville Republican Committee

of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Henry County-Martinsville Republican Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Eric Phillips, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held Ranias Restaurant, 147 E. Main Street, Martinsville, VA, 24112, starting at 6:30 PM local time. Registration will open at 5:45 pm on April 15th, 2024, for the following purposes:

1. To elect a Unit Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary and members to the unit committee;
2. Electing Delegates and Alternates to the Republican Party of Virginia State Convention, to be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, and Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Dr., Hampton VA 23666, or its alternate site, opening at 2:30 p.m. on May 31 for the purposes of:
   1. Electing a State Chairman,
   2. Nominating a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman,
   3. Nominating 2 electors at-large to serve in the 2024 Electoral College, and
   4. The transaction of other business as may properly come before the Convention.

Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes cast for Governor and President at their last election, so that Henry County-Martinsville is entitled to  Delegate Votes.

3. And for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.
