Legislative District Mass Meeting of the 80 th House District of the

Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the 80th House District Committee of the Republican
Party, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended
and directed by the Committee, I, W. Irvin Lindley, do hereby issue
this call for a Legislative District Mass Meeting to be held at Eastside
Pizzeria, 5618 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701, starting at
6:00 PM local time on June 10, 2019 for the purposes of: (1)
Nominating a Republican candidate for the office of Delegate to be
voted for in the General election on November 5, 2019; and (2) for the
transaction of such other business as may properly come before the
mass meeting.

Qualifications for Participation

All legal and qualified voters of the 80th House District under the laws
of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national
origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican
Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or
in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees
for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of
the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party
canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective
election districts.

Candidates Filing Requirements for Mass Meeting
Candidates seeking nomination at the Mass Meeting are required to
file a statement of intent by mail or in person to Richard W. Schnabel,
1 Harbor Ct, Apt 12H, Portsmouth, VA, 23704, which must be
received no later than 12:00 noon on Friday June 7, 2019. Postmarks
will not govern. Only those who have pre-filed will be considered for
nomination and no nominations from the floor will be in order. If only
one person pre-files for the nomination, then the properly filed person
will be declared the nominee and the mass meeting will be cancelled.

Registration Fee

The official Committee, can establish a filing fee for the candidates for
public office, as long as such fee does not exceed twice the primary
filing fee for that office. The filing fee for candidates will be $250.
Filing fees for any office are non-refundable.
There will be no registration fee to participate in this Mass Meeting.
