Mass Meeting of the Prince Edward County Committee for the 10th Senatorial Convention

As Chairman of the Prince Edward County Committee of the Republican Party, and
pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I,
John C. Marsden, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at 45 Simpson Road,
Prospect, VA 23960, or its alternate location, starting at 10:00a.m. local time on March 18, 2023
for the following purposes:
1) Elect up to 85 Delegates and an equal number of alternates to the 10th Senate District
Convention.
The 10th Senate District Convention will be held on May 6, 2023 beginning at 10:30
AM at: Buckingham County High School, 78 Knights Road, Buckingham, Virginia
23921 or an alternate site if necessary for the following purposes:
a) Election of Republican Nominee for the Senate of Virginia 10th District, and
b) Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Convention
Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes for Governor
and President at their last election, so that Prince Edward County is entitled to 17
Delegate Votes;
2) and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass
meeting.
