Of the Republican Party of Amelia County
As Chairman of the Amelia Committee of the Republican Party, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Martha O’Neal Muniz, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held in the meeting room at the Amelia County Administration Building located at 16360 Dunn Street, Amelia, Virginia on Monday June 10, 2019. Registration will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the Meeting will begin at 7:15 p.m.
Purpose
To nominate Republican candidates for the offices of: 1st District Board of Supervisors, 3rd District Board of Supervisors, 4th District Board of Supervisors, The Commissioner of the Revenue, Treasurer, Commonwealth’s Attorney, and Sheriff. All Candidates will run in the General
Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
Qualifications for Participation :
All legal and qualified voters of Amelia County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries
encompassing their respective election districts.
Pre-filing Requirements
Candidates for the election or nomination at said Mass Meeting shall file a written statement by mail or in person, to Martha O’Neal Muniz at 16040 Elm Cottage Road, Amelia, VA 23002 or via email to Martha O’Neal Muniz at [email protected] no later than Saturday June 8 by 5:00 p.m.Post-marks do not govern.
There will be no registration fee to participate in this Mass Meeting.
