OFFICIAL CALL

Mass Meeting of the Frederick County Republican Committee

of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Frederick County Republican Committee (FCRC) of the Republican Party of Virginia, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Andrew M. Robbins, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at Greenwood Mill Elementary School on July 15, 2015.  Registration shall begin at 5:30 P.M. and shall close at 6:30 P.M.  The Mass Meeting shall be called to order immediately thereafter for the following purpose:

1. Nominating a Republican candidate for the office of Red Bud Magisterial District Supervisor to be voted for in the special election on November 3, 2015;

Qualifications for Participation

All legal and qualified voters of Frederick County who reside in the Red Bud Magisterial District under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.

Filing Requirements

Candidates for the nomination or election at said canvass shall file a written statement by mail or in person, to Andrew M. Robbins, FCRC Chairman, P.O. Box 1688, Winchester, Virginia, 22604, along with a filing fee of $100 payable to the Frederick County Republican Committee., which must be received not later than 5:00 P.M., July 10, 2015. If not more than one person shall properly file for this nomination, then such person shall be declared the Republican nominee, and no canvass will be held for such purpose.  The filing form for candidates may be found on the Frederick County Republican Committee website: www.frederickvagop.org.

Registration Fee

There will be no registration fee to participate in this canvass.  Preregistration for participants is not required, however, preregistration is strongly recommended and much appreciated.  Preregistration forms are also available on our website:  www.frederickvagop.org.
