SPECIAL ELECTION: 6th House of Delegates Party Canvass

As Chairman of the 6th House of Delegates Legislative District Republican Committee (as it existed before 2021 redistricting—composed of Carroll County, Wythe County, and a portion of Smyth County), and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Adam L. Tolbert, do hereby issue this call for a Party Canvass (“party-run primary”) to be held at the Wytheville Meeting Center, 333 Community Blvd., Wytheville, VA 24382, beginning at 4:00PM local time and ending at 7:00PM local time on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 for the following purposes:
1) Nominating a Republican Candidate for Member of the House of Delegates from the 6th District to be voted upon in the Special Election to be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
All voters of the 6th House District from Carroll, Smyth, and Wythe will cast their vote at the Wytheville Meeting Center party canvass location.
