TERRY MCAULIFFE FLIP-FLOPS ON KATHY TRAN BILL, RECEIVES ABORTION INDUSTRY ENDORSEMENT

By accepting the endorsement of Planned Parenthood, Terry McAuliffe doubles down on his extreme stance on abortion that is out of touch with the vast majority of Virginians.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Alexis McGill Johnson, president and chief executive of Planned Parenthood said abortions are a “critically important part of what we do.” Johnson made Planned Parenthood’s stance on abortion abundantly clear by saying, “It’s really not a big deal that Planned Parenthood does this. We are a proud abortion provider.”

It’s clear that Terry McAuliffe agrees with that sentiment after a RARE FULL FLIP-FLOP to support State Delegate Kathy Tran’s bill that would have allowed abortions while the mother is dilating and keeping a baby comfortable after birth until it is aborted

In February 2019, McAuliffe said “absolutely not” when asked if he supported the Tran legislation.

But when asked two months later by The John Fredericks Show if he would veto Tran’s bill, McAuliffe responded, “I would not have vetoed the bill.”

That response prompted questions about whether or not McAuliffe supports infanticide.

The bottom line, Terry McAuliffe’s endorsements serve as a reminder that Democrats think any controversy surrounding late-term abortion is simply “overblown.”
