Bedford Co. Mass Meeting

As Chairman of the BEDFORD COUNTY UNIT COMMITTEE of the Republican Party of
Virginia, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended by the Committee, I,
TIMOTHY P. GRIFFIN, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at Jefferson
Forest High School, 1 Cavalier Circle, Forest, VA 24551, or alternative location as determined
by the Chairman, starting at 10:00 AM local time on Saturday, April 22, 2023, for the following
purposes:
A) Electing up to 655 Republican Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the
FIFTY-THIRD (53) DELEGATE DISTRICT, to be held on May 6, 2023, at Jefferson
Forest High School, 1 Cavalier Circle, Forest, VA 24551, or alternative location,
beginning at 10:00 AM for the purposes of nominating a candidate for Delegate, to the
Virginia House of Delegates. The delegate filing form may be found at
https://www.amherstcountyvirginiarepublicancommittee.com/. A paper copy of this
delegate filing form must be completed and submitted to Mary Katherine Bennett by 1:00
PM, Thursday, April 6, 2023. Forms may be mailed to 1053 Soyer Circle, Forest, VA,
24551, but must be received by the deadline (postmarks do not govern).
B) Electing up to ___ Republican Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the
FIFTY-FIRST (51) DELEGATE DISTRICT, to be held on June 10, 2023, at Rustburg
High School, 1671 Village Hwy, Rustburg, VA 24588, or alternative location, beginning
at 10:00 AM for the purposes of nominating a candidate for Delegate, to the Virginia
House of Delegates. The delegate filing form may be found at
______________________. A paper copy of this delegate filing form must be
completed and submitted to Mary Katherine Bennett by 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 6,
2023. Forms may be mailed to 1053 Soyer Circle, Forest, VA, 24551, but must be
received by the deadline (postmarks do not govern).
The Bedford County Republican Committee gives the Chairman the authority to fill in the
maximum number of delegates allowed, as well as the link to the Call within 48 hours of
the Legislative District Committee making it available.
