Bristol GOP Mass Meeting

As Chairman of the Bristol, Virginia Republican Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization
and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Jacob Preston Holmes, do hereby issue this call for a
Mass Meeting to be held at the Bristol, Virginia City Courthouse, 497 Cumberland St, Bristol, VA 24201 (or its
alternate site), starting at 7:15 PM (with registration opening at 6:45 PM) local time on March 17, 2022, for the
following purposes:
1. To elect a Unit Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and members to the unit commi ee;
2. Electing up to 180 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the Ninth Congressional District
Republican Convention, to be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Wytheville Meeting Center, 333
Community Blvd., Wytheville, VA 24382, or its alternate site, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (with registra on
from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.) for the purposes of:
a. electing a District Chairman, and
b. the transaction of other business as may properly come before the Convention.
Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes cast for Governor and President
at their last election, so that the City of Bristol is en tled to 36 Delegate Votes;
3. And for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.
