2024 Mass Meeting Call

I, Ira E. (Buddy) Bishop, IV, Chairman of the Goochland County Republican

Committee (GCRC) of the Republican Party of Virginia, and pursuant to the Plan of

Organization and as recommended by the Committee, do hereby issue a Call for a

Mass Meeting to be held at American Legion Post 215, 3386 River Road West,

Goochland, VA 23063, or its alternative location, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, for

the purposes of:

1. Electing the GCRC Chairman for the two-year term of 2024-2025, and

2. Electing GCRC members for the two-year term of 2024-2025, and

3. Electing a maximum of 390 delegates and a maximum of 390 alternate

delegates to the Fifth District Republican Convention to be held at Drakes Branch

Volunteer Fire Department, 4801 Drakes Main Street, Drakes Branch, VA 23937, or its

alternate location on Saturday, April 27, 2024, and

4. Electing a maximum of 390 delegates and a maximum of 390 alternate

delegates to the Republican Party of Virginia Quadrennial Convention to be

held at Hampton Coliseum, 1000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA 23666 or its

alternate location on May 31-June 1, 2024, and

5. Consideration of resolutions properly submitted by the established filing

deadline, and

6. Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Mass

Meeting.

The Mass Meeting will commence at 7:00 PM. Registration shall be open from 5:30

PM until 6:45 PM. All delegates must be in line by 6:45 PM to pre-file and register

for this Mass Meeting.
