Louisa GOP Mass Meeting Call

Mass Meeting
Of Louisa County Republican Committee Of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Louisa County Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia, pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Robin Horne, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at Betty Queen Center 522 Industrial Dr. Louisa Va 23093 or its alternate site, starting at 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, March 12 2024 Registration begins at 6:00 P.M. and ends at 6:30 P.M. for the following purposes:

1. Electing a Unit Chairman;
2. Electing members to the Louisa County Republican Committee
3. Electing up to 500 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the 5th District

Convention to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Drakes Branch Volunteer Fire Department 4801 Drakes Main Street, Drakes Branch, VA 23937, or alternate site, beginning at 10:00 A.M. for the purpose of:

a) Election of Fifth District Republican Committee Chairman
b) Election of three (3) State Central Committee Members
c) Election of one (1) Elector for the 2024 Presidential Election)
d) Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Convention 4.Electing up to 500 Delegates and equal number of Alternates to the 2024 Quadrennial

Convention (the “Convention”) to be held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center on May 31 and June 1, 2024 for the purpose

a) Selecting two Electors At-Large to be voted for in the presidential election on November 5, 2024;

b) Electing a State Chairman;

c) Nominating a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman;
d) Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Convention.

The Convention will open on May 31 at 2:30 pm for the election of permanent Convention officers and adoption of rules. No other election shall occur prior to 10:00 am on June 1.
