Montgomery County Republican Party Unit Committee

of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Party Unit Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Robert Barbatti, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at Montgomery County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St, Christiansburg, VA 24073, starting at 12 noon local time (with registration opening at 11am) on Saturday March 16, 2024 for the following purposes:

1. To elect a unit chairman, and members to the unit committee;
2. Electing Delegates to the Republican Party of Virginia State Convention, to be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 and Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Dr., Hampton VA 23666, or its alternate site, opening at 2:30 p.m. on May 31 for the purposes of:
   1. electing a State Chairman,
   2. nominating a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman,
   3. nominating 2 electors at-large to serve in the 2024 Electoral College, and
   4. the transaction of other business as may properly come before the Convention.

Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes cast for Governor and President at their last election, so that Montgomery County Republican Party is entitled to 151 Delegate Votes;

3. And for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.
