2024 Westmoreland County Republican Committee Mass Meeting Of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Westmoreland County Republican Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Alan Aylor, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at the American Legion Post 252 Building, 14576 Kings Highway, Montross VA 22520 starting at 7:00 P.M. on March 21, 2024 for the following purposes:

1. ElectingmembersoftheUnitCommittee.
2. ElectingaUnitChairman.
3. Electinguptotwohundred(200)DelegatesandanequalnumberofAlternatesto the Republican Party of Virginia’s 1st Congressional District Convention to be held at King William High School, 80 Cavalier Drive, King William, VA 23086 or its alternate site, starting May 4, 2024 at 10:00am with registration beginning at 8:00am for the following purposes:
   1. Electing a chairman for the First Congressional District of the Republican Party of Virginia;
   2. Electing three (3) members of the State Central Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia;
   3. Electing a Republican candidate for elector for President and Vice President of the United States to be voted for at the election on November 5, 2024; and
   4. Forthetransactionofsuchotherbusinessasmayproperlycomebeforethe convention.
4. Electinguptotwohundred(200)DelegatesandanequalnumberofAlternatesto the Republican Party of Virginia 2024 Quadrennial State Convention to be held on May 31 and June 1, 2024 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA 23666 or its alternate site, beginning at 2:30pm on May 31, 2024 for the following purposes:
   1. NominatingtwoElectorsAt-Largetobevotedforinthepresidentialelection on November 5, 2024.
   2. ElectingaStateChairman.
   3. Nominating a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman; and
   4. Forthetransactionofsuchotherbusinessasmayproperlycomebeforetheconvention.

For the District and State Convention, each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate vote per 250 Republican votes cast or major portion thereof for the Republican candidate in the most recent elections for President and Governor, so that Westmoreland County is entitled to forty (40) Delegate Votes.
