Republican Party of Virginia’s Statement on Spanberger’s “Bipartisan” Ad
Richmond, Virginia – October 11, 2022
In the closing days of her failed campaign for Congress, Abigail Spanberger has reached the point of desperation at which she has to turn to a former Congressman who announced in June to a nationwide audience on Jake Tapper’s “State of the Union” that he is “no longer a Republican.” As Spanberger scours the land for endorsements, pushes false narratives, and struggles for relevance in her losing campaign, Republicans everywhere know that she’s trying to burnish the false veneer of bipartisanship that she has been pushing.
In reality, Spanberger is no moderate and is instead a hyper-partisan extremist with anger-management issues and votes with Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi 100% of the time. Most recently, she went on a screaming and cursing rampage in a usually-civil and bipartisan meeting of the 13 members of the Virginia delegation to the U.S. Congress, severely damaging the forum in which our federal representatives periodically meet.
Spanberger will continue to pose as a moderate, but she cannot hide the fact that her campaign has now reached a point of hopeless desperation. That is why she rolls out an endorsement from a former Republican who long ago left the party and no longer sits in Congress.
That is why Yesli Vega will defeat Spanberger in a decisive victory on November 8th.
