Dinwiddie Mass Meeting

As Chairman of the Dinwiddie Republican Committee (DRC) of the Republican Party and
pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I,
Betty Conn, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at Brothers Pizza (25809
Cox Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803), starting at 7:00 PM local time, with registration beginning
at 6:30 PM, on Monday, March 21, 2022, for the following purposes:
A) Electing a Unit Chairman;
B) For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
All legal and qualified voters of Dinwiddie County under the laws of the Commonwealth of
Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin, or sex, who are in accord with the principles
of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting, either orally or in
writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the
ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass
meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election
districts.
FILING REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for election at said mass meeting should complete the pre-filing form, which is
available as an attachment to this call. To be considered for election as chair at said Mass
Meeting, the form must be completed and returned with a $35 nonrefundable filing fee to
treasurer Lori Stephens by mail (24640 Smith Grove Road North Dinwiddie, VA 23803) by
Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 5:00 PM local time. Postmarks shall not govern.
If only one qualified candidate is properly pre-filed for Unit Chair, that candidate shall be
deemed elected and the Mass Meeting cancelled.
