An NBC news poll earlier this summer revealed that Kamala Harris is the most unpopular Vice President in history. Following that brutal poll, the White House announced that Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Hampton University on Thursday to speak to college students. Students can expect that Vice President Harris will offer her normal ramblings and more empty promises, but here’s what they will not hear:

Inflation due to Joe Biden’s and Kamala Harris’s reckless economic policies are crushing college students:

• If you need to fill up your car to drive to class, it costs over a $1.40 more per gallon more than when Biden and Harris originally took office.
• If you want to go out to eat with your friend, the cost has skyrocketed 19.3% under Biden and Harris.
• If you want to get some food for your dorm or apartment, grocery prices are up 19.3% under Biden and Harris.
• If you want to get a cup of coffee, you’re paying 30% more than when Biden and Harris took office.

Hampton students are smart. They should look past all the empty promises and fearmongering that Vice President Harris will offer them.

The simple fact is that everyday life is far more expensive over the past two and half years because of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Economic anxiety is rampant. College students are worried about how they’re going to be able to get a good enough paying job when they graduate to be able to afford to pay their bills and save for their futures.

Until President Biden and Vice President Harris acknowledge those harsh economic realities that are hurting Hampton students and Virginians across our Commonwealth and commit to changing course, they will remain completely out of touch with the people they’re supposed to be representing.
